As a child born in the the mid 1950', I disliked my name and always wished that my parents named me Kathy, Debbie, Susan etc. I was raise with a Hawaiian, Irish Catholic background. However, now, as a middle age female I feel my name is unique and I am special as is by background and it fits and know I will never be mistaken for someone else. It has definitely grown on me.
