In response to Jess I like the spelling of my name! It makes me feel unique yet timeless! I like the different spellings...I live in a house of 31 women and 5 of us are named Jessica. Not only am I the only African-American I am the only one that spells her name differently...all of our friends know me as Jessica with a "K" I love it

To all the people that say Jessica is too common and too boring...take note...why is it so popular? And why has it been popular for many many years? Maybe because its a great name, it is simple and pretty and will be eternally common. So deal with it! Hahaha. Oh and I hate any of the stupid variations of spelling. The name is JESSICA not Jesykah as I've seen it written or anything else. It deserves to be spelt correctly! :D

I find my name too common and very boring. I go too a tiny school, and there are still 5 Jessicas in my grade. Also I have seen other sources that say it means "God sees."

I searched this name because I saw someone with it and I got curious. And I'm not being mean. Jessica isn't such a name with a bang (not saying mine is better)but yeah, from all the Jessica's I've met, it's really too common and dull. Jessica's have ALOT of personality. They need a new name!
